Run, jump and butt-slide into the glorious toy-filled world of Action Henk! Become a master of momentum and defy physics as you race against a band of ragged 90s action figures to once and for all prove that Action Henk PC is the fastest of them all! Dash across dangerous tracks and tricky constructions, earn those medals, beat those challenges, and leave your friends behind in a blaze of butt-sliding glory.
A charming, addictive game that’s easy to learn but hard to master and therefore appeals both to those who seek some simple fun and those who play games to set records and climb the leaderboards. [08/2015, p.58]
Action Henk is easily one of the best speed-runners in years.
It's pure fun, and it's an original mix between an endless runner and a Sonic-styled platform. Definitely worth a try.
Action Henk is fast, super fluid, and it never gets cheaply frustrating. If it would challenge the player with more different goals beside beating the best time, it could last forever.
Completing Action Henk will set you back only several hours, but you will be at the edge of your seat for most of that time.
Action Henk is a fun speedrunner that constantly challenges you to improve your own runs. The game offers more depth than you would expect, but it is not really a game to play hours in a row.
Although the game doesn't outstay its welcome, that can be difficult to appreciate. I was left wanting more, particularly in terms of level variety, but the essence of the game is great.
