This episode will cover everything that happend from September 28th to October 4th 2013, so let’s get right amongst it.
Standalone News (#DAYZDAILY)
On Sunday the 29th, Brian Hicks added some clarification to the mysterious image posted last Friday, which is in fact a dark corridor at Bohemia Interactive, with only Rocket’s desk light still on.
And on Monday the team also discussed player key bindings and end game survivalism.
Do you think you have what it takes to be a Gameplay Mechanics Designer with powers and skills comparable to Rocket? If so, Bohemia Interactive is now accepting applications for such a position on the DayZ development team, so get those resumes in!
Polana Town in Dayz Standalone
And last but not certainly not least, as promised Ivan tweeted a comparison screenshot between the original village of Polana from ArmA 2 and the new Polana in DayZ Standalone, which is still a work in progress. But it looks fabulous.
One more thing I wanted to briefly mention is the “Rocket On…” document created by community members DrBigMoney and QuantumAI. I know I said I no longer cover any community content, but this is something very cool I wanted to share with you guys. It’s basically a list of questions, topics and issues that Rocket and the dev team have already addressed or discussed, ranging from everything to base building to combat logging to weather, and you should definitely check it out if you haven’t already.
As always, links to everything you saw in the video can be found in the description below. Subscribe and follow me
