Hi,

The combat system seems really unbalanced.

It’s so frustrating and annoying to spend hours scavenging and gearing up and what is the point when despite having ballistic armour and a military grade helmet, myself and friends have been repeatedly one tapped, even by people with pistols.  Unless this is addressed people are just going to end up rage quitting.

The game seems to go from one extreme to the other, from one shot instakills to the opposite end with zombies being so spongy that you can empty entire clips into them and they still keep coming, seriously, wtf is up with the combat system.

I mean, apart from anything, what is the point of having all of the med kits and iv’s and blood transfusions and bandages and splints etc if there is nothing between getting punched out and unconscious and one tapped and dead straight off!

I’m unsure if it’s implemented as of now, but vital organs are or will play a major part in combat system. So if you get hit in the spine close range with a .45acp you’ll probably die instantly. It does make sense they’d have this system, even if it does make things harder. At least it gives the fresh spawn a chance to kill geared spawn campers.

That’s kind of my point exactly because surely the point of ballistic armour is to protect the body’s core and vital organs & I like the realism of the game but being one tapped by a pistol when geared isnt realistic.
Speaking of campers , I died a couple of times to people camping behind doors & apart from anything how sad is that! Seriously how pathetic that they sit there behind a door waiting for someone to stumble in so they can get a gank kill

Yeah you’re certainly right on the ballistic armour. But I think the hit markers are rather accurate – I saw someone get hit in a video in a part of the body exposed despite wearing a ballistic vest. He took a lot of damage but didn’t die. If you get hit in the face from a pistol close range even wearing a helmet that doesn’t cover the face, it makes sense that you die instantly, to me.

I don’t necessarily mind camping in a game, but when people roam the coast with M4s and stuff it’s a bit silly. But, when you kill a geared player with nothing but a makarov? lovely haha

Yep I guess you’re right, plus I have noticed since playing more how op the .45 acp is compared to the u70
Tbf I also had a run with no armour on and only armed with an axe when I got attacked by a player with a pistol and must have taken 2 or 3 shots b4 death so suppose it does depends on accuracy and calibur.
I think I would like to

I think I would like to see a bleed out feature or timer so there was a team or group element where they could try and stabilise & administer emergency medical assistance.
